Do you accept insurance?
We don't currently accept insurance, but we can provide a Superbill that can be submitted to insurance for reimbursement for those who have a PPO insurance plan.

How Does Therapy Work?

When you schedule an appointment with a therapist who aligns with your needs, your first session will typically be 50 minutes long. During this time, we'll focus on building a therapeutic relationship and assessing your initial symptoms.

In the following 2-3 sessions, we'll continue gathering additional information, refine our understanding of your needs, and begin to form an initial treatment plan. This plan will guide the structure of future sessions, which will include clinical interventions aimed at achieving your specific treatment goals.
 

For optimal results, we recommend weekly sessions at the start of therapy. In-person meetings are our preferred method for conducting adult therapy.

Who can sign up for the skills groups?
You do not need to be seeing a Brain Repair clinician for individual therapy to sign up for the DBT skills group. Having a one on one session can be extremely helpful in refining and individualizing the skills discussed in group, but it's not a requirement to sign up.

Can I join the group at any time?
Yes! Our DBT skills group has rolling admissions, and since the program runs for 12 weeks, you’re welcome to join whenever you’re ready.

Are Family Members invited to participate?
Yes, family involvement is encouraged! We believe that when loved ones understand the skills being developed, they can offer better support and help hold each other accountable throughout the process.
